David A. Carman has been practicing law for over 28 years, primarily as a civil litigator. He has first chair jury trial experience, as well as experience in arbitrations and mediation. He has litigated cases involving, among other issues, breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, insurance bad faith, sexual harassment, defamation, copyright infringement, and trademark infringement. Before joining Wolk & Levine, LLP, Mr. Carman worked at three other prominent Los Angeles area law firms.
Mr. Carman is admitted to practice law in all California state courts; the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California; the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas; the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also been admitted, pro hac vice, in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and state court in Texas.
Mr. Carman is a summa cum laude graduate of Kenyon College, and he is a summa cum laude graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. In law school, Mr. Carman was a member of the law review and a moot court competition winner.
